If you’re anywhere near the NEC Birmingham (UK) today, this is your chance to see the new Objet260 Connex compact multi-material 3D printer in action. Objet will be showcasing the 3D printer along with some amazing 3D printed models and prototypes at stand G28.
Also, tomorrow, September 28th, show attendees are invited to experience a live demonstration along with a glass of champagne at Objet’s stand from 4-5pm.
Launched this June, the Objet260 Connex is the company’s latest multi-material 3D printer – and uses the world’s only 3D printing technology to build prototypes containing up to 14 different material parts, including the ability to combine flexible and rigid materials, or transparent and opaque materials in a single model.
The Objet260 Connex can also mix different materials to produce advanced composites featuring high toughness and temperature resistance – such as Objet’s new ABS-like material. This last material will be demonstrated using a fully functional 3D printed skateboard deck – able to hold more than 100kg – at the show.
