3D Printed Hands – in New Transparent Bio-Compatible Material

These full-sized 3D printed hands have been attracting lots of attention on my desk for the last couple of weeks. They’re printed in Objet’s new transparent bio-compatible material (also known as Objet MED610). Suitable for prolonged skin contact of over 30 days and mucosal-membrane contact of up to 24 hours, this new material is designed to provide good visibility of soft tissues during medical and dental procedures.

Providing a nice contrast to the hands – the miniature ball is printed in Objet’s original FullCure720 transparent material.

To find out more about MED610, read the press release here.
