Objet will be the official sponsor of the ‘Multiversités Créatives’ exhibition in the Centre Pompidou in Paris, running from May 2nd to August 6th. This year’s ‘Multiversités Créatives’ exhibition focuses on the future of industry and deals with new creative tools. Visitors will be drawn by 15 different projects created by a new generation of young designers exploring the intersection of technology and art.
Of special interest to those obsessed with 3D printing will be a unique exhibit entitled ‘Imaginary Beings – Mythologies of the Not Yet’. This exhibit will feature ’18 Prototypes for the Human Body’, created by Prof. Neri Oxman, Professor of Media, Arts and Science at MIT – all 3D printed on the Objet Connex Multi-Material 3D Printer!
To read more about Neri Oxman and her work, check out her website. We also recently showed a video clip with a small scale of Neri Oxman’s ‘beast’ – a multi-material 3D printed chair created using the same amazing Objet Connex multi-material 3D printed patterns as in the photos above.
