3D Printing – Changing the Game for the London Olympics

The London Olympics are just around the corner and here at Objet, like millions around the globe, we’re eager to see how the drama unfolds.

In the spirit of the games then, why not follow us on our Facebook page for two weeks’ worth of amazing 3D printing stories from the world of sports!

Objet 3D Printed Shoe Sole in Rigid Transparent Material with Rubber-like Over-molded Treads

From the leading brand names to new design hopefuls, see how the sporting world is using 3D printing to create new and innovative products. From now until the opening ceremonies on July 27, we’re running a “Pick the Winners Contest” to help get you in the competitive mood. We’ve made some “best guesses” for some of the most popular Summer Olympic events, including track and field, soccer (that’s football to anyone on the Old Continent!), swimming and gymnastics—and we want to know your picks.
Fill out your ballots by July 26 and stay tuned.
After the Olympics wraps up on August 12, the most accurate Pick the Winners Contest entry will win a prize from Objet! (In the case of a tie, winners will be randomly selected.)
And in the meatime, enjoy the show!
