3D Printing Some Unique iPhone Covers! (Video)

Not only was today’s video blog post filmed on my smart phone – it also features some unique smart phone cases, designed by Danny Tasmakis and all 3D printed on the Objet Connex system! Check out the tiny inter-locking gear wheels – a testament to the magic of 3D printing and the fine detail accuracy of the Objet system; and the choice of Objet material combinations – in this case just a small sample from the grand total of 107 3D printing materials. I have a feeling this is one model that everyone is going to be climbing the walls for!

Is there a way to buy these iPhone cases or a file to download/buy to make one myself?

We would love to have the artist who designed this featured on our site. Is it possible to be placed in contact with the designer?

    Thank you.

Good idea. Can mate these gears with a dynamo and use it as phone charger.
