Objet Launches ‘Scholar’ Package for Schools, Colleges & Universities

Objet has today launched the new ‘Scholar’ package. This is a professional desktop 3D printer bundled together with a 2 or 3 year supply of 3D printing materials, maintenance and training.

The Scholar package is designed to make professional level 3D printing more accessible to the next generation of designers and engineers – by enabling schools and colleges to easily introduce the Objet systems into their facilities today.

Why ‘Scholar’ and Why Now?

Manufacturing PMI - Europe is lagging behind the US and China

The Objet Scholar will help educators re-invigorate STEM studies, providing students with an inspiring technology and practical tool by which they can transform new ideas and projects into tangible reality at the click of a button. And because the Objet 3D printing system is already in use among a large proportion of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, the students using the system will automatically become ‘trained’ for many of their future careers. A win-win from every angle.

Objet systems are already in use in many of world’s leading schools and universities including Virginia Tech, University of New Orleans, Art Center College of Design, Purdue University, and The Technion.

Make sure to check out our new Facebook section, YouTube play list and, of course, the Education Blog which you can reach by going to the top tool bar of this blog and clicking ‘Education’.
