Stratasys Showcases 3D Printing Innovations at Materialise World 2015

More than 1,000 participants converged on the Square Conference Center in Brussels to discuss the latest developments and trends in additive manufacturing at Materialise World 2015. The 25th anniversary of this industry event was sponsored by Stratasys and included a Stratasys exhibit where Materialise users discussed the latest 3D printing trends and technologies.

Stratasys presenters at the two-day event included Dr. Phil Reeves, Vice President of Strategic Consulting, Stratasys who discussed the Business Benefits of Additive Manufacturing, focusing on AM’s impact on the supply chain and on various business models, and Amos Breyfogle, Senior Application Engineer, Stratasys, who described 3D Printing in Medical: Disruptive and Empowering Potential Realized, focusing on such healthcare applications as surgical models, prosthetics and even gave examples from his own family.

To mark the 25th anniversary of Materialise World, a special opening gala was held for the MAKING A DIFFERENCE/A DIFFERENCE IN MAKING exhibition at the BOZAR Centre of Fine Arts. The exhibition, which continues through June 7, includes Stratasys 3D printed works by three designers: Nick Ervinck, Zaha Hadid Architects and Dov Ganchrow.
